MOUNTCITY SECURE BALFOUR BEATTY
Advised by Lane Walker, Mountcity Investments Ltd have secured Balfour
Beatty as tenants for their prestigious 02 Park Square office development
scheme. The building, comprising approximately 23,000 sq.ft. of top
quality, fully air conditioned office accommodation, has been taken
on a new 10 year lease. Balfour Beatty are relocating from Platts
Common near Barnsley and will bring 120 jobs initially with a further
80 scheduled to follow in the future.
Clive Stevens, of sole letting agents Lane Walker said, “Balfour Beatty
were attracted to Thorncliffe Business Park due to the proximity to
the motorway network, the landscaped working environment, the excellent

The letting of 02 Park Square follows swiftly on the heals of other
successful lettings on the park including 5,000 sq.ft. to Miller Patterson
and completes approximately 40,000 sq.ft. of office development undertaken
at Park Square in the last two years, all of which is fully occupied.
Park Square follows the earlier phases of office development at Thorncliffe
Business Park, comprising Rotunda Business Centre and Newton Business
Centre, which between them total around 72,500 sq.ft. The total floor
space at Thorncliffe Business Park is around 460,000 sq.ft. and the
site employs almost 2,000 people making Thorncliffe Business Park
Sheffield’s premier business park.
